Scattered memories...
the shards of a broken heart,
mirrors reflecting
lovers walking hand-in-hand
toward
a fork in the path
of desire.

Love forgives,
holds onto the lessons
of growth.

Time
sweeps the shards
into the forge of understanding...
of healing.
