There will come a day
When you will sit beside me
And I will be smiling
Not because you are sitting next to me
But because of what you've missed.
There will come a day
When I would've forgiven you
But you would be still living with the pain
Of previous mistakes.
You will be the one grieving
Like I do now
But that day I will be smiling
And be careless of the past.
I will feel free as a bird
To look for my happiness
Without you or anyone judging me.
That day will come and I will be smiling
And radiate happiness
While you will try to supress the tears
That would be flooding your eyes
And you will fake all these smiles
I fake nowadays when I grieve…
