Loving a Famous Person
So sad was that shy lonely man
Though he wrote music for all of the world
he couldn’t find courage or strength
to speak to that one lonely girl

When they came face to face
They both turned away
She thought her mind was all wrong
Seemed whenever he’s near
she thought she could hear
him whisper the words to his songs

They never did meet to exchange
the love their souls had to bear
They both held too tightly too long
to the words they both wanted to share

Their voices now long gone and quiet
Emotions have been left unsaid
Public displayed hearts must remain silent
Lonely hearts mourn each other instead
