The sea
Waves they be
Slamming
Ramming
Shifting madness
Changing everything
Leaving nothing
Hatred and obliteration
Upon one hand
Disguised as beauty
The faithful are certain
Of God’s master touch
The darkness is reveling
Knowing all truths
While telling only lies
Fiend turning tide
Changing what is sacred
Making it something else
Destructive in nature
Innocence mired by creation
One of damnations offspring
In such a scenario
Many wrongs make nothing seem right
Those of faith will begin to turn
Those of choice will become undecided
Lost in nothing’s neutral embrace
I am just a man
A poet of a fool
Telling my own truths
Hoping to make a difference
Where there will be none
I am acutely aware
Keen with such observation
Has for a time served me well
Reveling within my own contradictions
Waiting for a clearly spoken message
So that I can relay it to the masses
Fiend turning tide
Is what I see in this present time
Certainly all can change
For good or bad
For right or wrong
Such distinctions matter none
I am just a relay station between
Any two given points
A point of conveyance
An onward push that is needed
Aided by my ability to express
What others often refuse
Or simply do not see…
