Inspired by my son's usual Monday routine whenever he gets ready to go to school.
Mhiko’s Monday



Waking up to a sound of a ring

Dad reminds me of things need fixing

Fixing my bed

With a very sleepy head

Trying not to fall asleep

Making me come back to bed

A smell of food and bread

Helps me do things ahead

Oh Monday will you ever be over

Off to school for learning and be clever

Goodbye for now while my Monday starts

Enjoying the day with friends and hearts
