Rainbows of Love

She flies with angels
ascending
through light's corridors
to the gates of paradise.

Her pains forgotten,
her wings
marked by the scars of faith
reflect
rainbows of love
ahead of her
announcing her arrival
to her parents who wait
at the gate.

Rainbows of love
flow back to earth
where they caress
the souls
of her children,
grandchildren,
great grandchildren
who mourn
the spark now missing
in their lives.
