What if one step into a room brought you to a past you wished to forget? what is that past
One step over the line
Brings me straight to the past
To a place of pain and torment
Where people prayed to die fast

The decaying bodies and dried blood
Is all there was to fill the rooms
Screams of pain and last breaths
Heard throughout the poisonous fumes

No one left to shed a tear
They disappeared when the whips appeared
When they were burned, and scarred all over
And everywhere blood was smeared

Just one word and I’m there
Living through that very hell
Where living was torture
And death was dying in a gas-filled cell

There the decaying bodies and dried blood
Was all there was to fill the rooms
Screams of pains and last breaths
Was all you would hear through the fumes

authors notes: I know that there was chambers but for the poem i changed it to cells. I am sorry if that makes it inaccurate.
