This is a poem about perception.. This poems shows the different colours of life..
Says she “ the night is red “
Stained with the blood of her son
Who sacrificed himself at the altar of war
A war to satisfy a nation's greed,
the greed to expand, to show off power
Was the war really worth her son's life?
and
Red were her eyes too, when she felt asleep crying..

Said she “ the night is black”
when she put her little son to sleep
and laid beside him, gazing his innocent eyes
“the most beautiful thing “, said she
And went to sleep herself ,

Said she “ the night is blue “
When love was in the air
and she in the arms of her beloved.
Beauty of night, she loved
“ its so beautiful” she felt
and screamed
while she loved being in love

Said she “ the night is white “,
as a little child.
When she confused the night as day
and called the day a night..

The colour of night didnt change
What changed was the time
Changed her “perception” , as she grew
and the time...
It just flew...
