The feeling that one gets at this time of season.
The wind blows hard at the window's ledge
The soft breathing of my child in my bed
The warmth of the blankets and the hum of the heat
Remind me of winter's past, as my socks warm my cold, cold feet

This time of year is best, somehow
The hustle and bustle, and the cheer of the crowds
Once the shopping is done, gifts opened with little care
You feel the joy of Christmas move quickly through the air

While we enjoy our families, our food, our gifts
We need to remember those who are not blessed with all this
The birth of our Lord, and Savior's, the reason
We remember His blessings, and grace, this season.
