How bad a professional worker can feel after losing an opportunity - a rhyming poem.
The loss of all our innocence
And all our childhood dreams
Can often make a lot of sense
Not leave us poor, it seems.

When everything keeps working out
It’s ne’er by chance we leapt
For opportunity’s all about
Contacts that we’ve kept.

Escaping all the wryness
Of wayward dreams gone by
Is knowing humanity’s highness
Is feeling emotions fly.

Soaring feelings aren’t sins
But the seasons going by
Respect and all its disciplines
Are subjects truly dry.
