motivational poem about myself and others going through a hard change in life.
Cry me a river

I'll play the world's saddest song on the world's smallest violin

Maybe then things will be better, We all want change but most of us can't accept what comes with it

The lyrics to that song are too explicit, so we cover our ears, and "protect" ourselves from the truths that we are unable to escape

Angry at the world and ourselves, confused about where to begin

sick of waiting & restarting the tape, feeling sorry for ourselves is all we have left.

No room to fall farther, only room to move up and branch out

self pity will hold us as long as we let it

Cry me a river
