A poem on how distance separates but love still remains ...
I wish I were the air that blows and cools your brow
The source of life that you take in and give out,
Losing myself within you.
Mildly flowing and whispering secrets of a lost past

I wish I were the moon that you see at night
Sparkling when the day refuses to stay no more
Peeping at you through clouds just to make sure
That your room is well lit .

I wish I were the bird that perches at your window
Singing you songs just to see that smile again .
That could fly back to you when darkness prevailed
Looking in your eyes and forgetting all fear .

I wish I were whatever I could be to change back our fate
To erase away the long distance and to come back to you
Back to the time and place where we met ,
So that I could hold on tighter and never let go again ....
