A little rant over freedom.
Free?
Nothing is free.
Everything has a cost,
even freedom.
So then,
how can one say
'Rejoyce! For you are free!'
When in fact, I am not.
Slowly they trade away
the little freedom gained
and being too safe
is what will kill them.
But I am not
so naive
to believe
I was ever
really free.
For once gained
a thing will be lost,
and missed,
fought for,
gained again,
and given away.
So do not tell me
I am free.
When you,
my friend,
will one day
live to take it
away. Therefore,
no freedom is truely gained.
