A man's obsession with a copycat on a subway drives him to a boiling point.
He just stares at me. It's been going on since I got my current job. Every day I take the subway to work, and he does everything I do. He gets on when I get on. He sits when I sit. Always right across from me. When I look at him, he looks at me. He also dresses like me, too. Every. Fricking. Day. I thought I would've had him when I walked on the subway dressed as Bozo, but he copied my apparel right down to the shoes. I got fired the next day for making a mockery of the business. I'm going to get my revenge on him.
I entered the subway the next day, later than when I usually do. He smirked at me.
"YOU!" I jolted out of my seat. I could feel myself shaking as I said this. He just sat there with the same smirk as before. My surroundings became distorted, and him and I were the only ones on the subway. "You ruined me. You made my wife leave me, and got me fired from my job!" Without warning, I took a step towards him, and punched him as hard as I could. My surroundings snapped back into place, and everyone on the subway was staring at me as if I was crazy.
A week later I was admitted into therapy. It was there that I found out I punched a mirror.
