A trip through my mind.
I’m on a trip to my imagination.
I am the ambassador of this unruly nation.
The streets are paved with the color of sorrow.
In my nation we never think of tomorrow.
Every night in the heat of emotion,
We fight each other, just to hear the commotion.
The pain is too quiet to bear
That’s why we long for anything to hear.
In my nation we have a sea of unconsciousness
Only a lucky few have ever felt its bliss.
The houses are made with bricks of hate,
It seems as if that’s just their fate.
A foundation of hurt is all we can do,
Because for happiness and love the resources are few.
The children have the privilege of knowing hope.
They get to live in the boat.
The boat that floats on the sea.
The children that were once me.
My nation is odd, but it’s all I know.
I told you of my nation
So what do you have to show?
