A simple wispy poem, no meter used.
From the start we were friends, living lives ahead

But if we knew the truth, little could be said.

Of Hash tags or dandelions

Neither of much use, for when the wind fades west-way,

Memories can only be mused.

Back then, flares flourished, flame flickered where fickle figures fused

Following kosmic heights, we danced until linens couldn’t help but fray.

Finding treasures buried deep under golden flakes, overtones of blue;

Our fortune found in happiness, all just a bunch of fools.

On those shores, troubles stirred beneath our dreams and strumming heart-strings.

Leave these words for the whispering trees, mocking reality’s springs,

As this story becomes too steep, and slips through fey lines into reality.
