A poem about an autumn and winter of intense, bitter cold - enjoy!
The winter temps still cold as heck
We’re living like some frosty speck –
The frozen days so uninspired
Much less spring-like than desired.

In this world of freaks and actors
Are those bleak and chilly factors:
Mornings filled with tons of ice
And nights that grip us in their vice.

As the weeks pass, little change –
The freezing temps still out of range
A nasty chill that’s sometimes wet
A pouring rain not yielding yet.

After springtime comes the summer
And no more will it be a bummer
Warmer temps shall then prevail
Sunny times, no sleet and hail.
