First attempt at poetry, hoping for some feedback and pointers, Thankyou
The world has gone too far it seems
Cutting, mining, killing things
No thought or love for Mother Earth
To whom we owe our children's birth
Her body is hollow, her creature's depleting
We cut her down, leave her weeping
Ignore her cries and keep on taking
To cash up our lives, which we are faking
You have a job, a house, a car
But that's not life, not who you are
We're ruining our greatest chance
To enjoy the land, the birds, the plants
For the sake of money, appearence and power
Our Mother is dying by the hour
