20 lines. Commitment of my Lord. What He Brought me from.
I wandered into a vast fog of despair.
My heart was hard as ore, and darker than onyx.
Rivers flooded my eyes in the twilight,
Yes, even daylight held no source to cause refrain from the ache.
My soul lost in the depths of insanity; without feeling.

With all understanding you were ever near.
In the times when I cursed you, you drew me close.
When I pushed away, you were steadfast by my side
You gently called my name; I hid in my shame
Undeserving of the love you wanted to give

The ore softened, the darkness began to fade
As your love seeped into my blood warming me
Changing my heart, clearing my eyes; opening me up like a flower to the spring sun.
You’re a silver lining in the darkest night like an ever present moon
When storms overtake my day I know it’s not the end of your love for me.

When tears find their way to my eyes, I am not distraught.
I can smile in the pain; it will only last for a moment.
The joy of your love is new and fresh every day.
I know I can turn to you. No doubt. No fear.
My Savior, My Lord.
