Poem about someone who meant a lot to me but suddenly went cold, but seasons change right?
What happened to those perfect summer days?
That’s the first time I had something to lose
When the brightest colors described your gaze
And given the choice, it was you I’d choose.

But now you’re as cold as the winter weather
Your voice as chilling as the January winds
Your smile long gone, like our time together
I miss the scent of your familiar skin.

These things, they’re just not like they were before
There’s so many things that I wish you knew
These words are all I have left anymore
But the stars, I swear to God, they're for you.

But as I take a look into your eyes
They've melted, and warmed like the summer skies.
