My thoughts on an American icon.
He's six foot three,
Or he's five foot two.
A little like me,
A little like you.

He wears his suits,
And he wears his ties.
He wears boots and jeans,
And will till he dies.

He opens doors,
And he pulls out chairs.
Calls ladies Ma'am,
Shows women he cares.

He works all day,
From dawn till sundown.
Don't matter to him,
If no ones around.

His home's his ranch,
Be it large or small.
His country's his love,
For her he'd give all.

No matter where,
North, South, East, or West.
Of man or woman,
They're about the best.

A Stetson hat
In a Jersey bar
Or a Houston club
With a mean guitar.

Like Gene and Roy
Or Wayne and Eastwood
Yankee or Rebel
Cowboy life is good.
