The result of bouts of chronic eye pain. An ode to my hallucinations.
Incandescent web of light,

why do you cease to taunt me so?

bringer of eternal sprite

rekindle in me your dark allure

Fragile beams of inconstancy,

why do you elude me thus?

Is it for naught to presuade you to stay?

For all else now is mirage to me

"Dear child, I´m purely an anomaly

shadow of sinisterness yet to come:

beauty in passing, soon messenger of dank despair ", the shimmering pool retorted.

A disturbing symptom,

A film of the eye,

A filthy abomination- they all say

That it may be but when all else fails: remember,

the sun alighting on the world

can entail and uncover ultimately both revelation and descration.
