Long Ago
Dwell in London Town, its cloud and its smog,
Smell the rotten air, and its flouting mist,
Fell the deceased trees and turn them into logs,
Gel with the girls and hope to get kissed.

Days long ago, spent in the big smoke,
Ways of moving round, without getting low,
Plays on your mind, turns you into a joke,
Nays of disappointment, as you scurry to and fro.
