Speculation

Left in this world all alone
Inhaling the memories I have left
Pondering the colors you have shown
Putting my heart to rest.

Closing my eyes I stare into yours
For once I see only space
I eagerly search for anything more
My mind is now starting to race.

The clouds let loose a frigid rain
I spread my arms open wide
Let it wash away my pain
And all evidence that I have cried.

Within my chest a gaping hole.
The water floods in cleansing and cold.
