Life is like a dark room
Into the world we enter as entering a dark room
Searching for a light we grope around in the darkness
Our future unknown and the shadows and darkness
Seem to swallow us whole

We ask ourselves, "Is there hope?"
Is there a light to pierce the darkness?
We search and search for just a sliver of light
So we can see the good in the world

The dark hides the way to happiness and hope
But then we notice a crack at the bottom of the door
We see light streaming through it
Could there be hope?

The stream of light plays on the floor
You follow it along the floor to the opposite wall
Wait, there are windows, but they are black
No light coming through

You walk to the window and discover "light"
Streaming through the blinds
You open the blinds
Great rays of light give your world direction and hope!

Jesus is the Light of the World!!
