The Nightingale proclaims his enjoyment of the rose
I listen to the nightingale sing
Proclaiming his enjoyment of the rose
He loves the beauty of its petals
No matter what colors they reflect

The nightingale loves the rose
He loves its corolla and its thorns
He loves its leaves and its aroma
No matter in whose garden it grows

Day and night the nightingale sings
Declaring his adoration of the rose
Showing me an example of true worship
As I listen to his song of praise
