A poem about a forgetful dog.
A Senior Pooch Arrives,
After a mid-day snooze,
The tip of his tongue sticks out,
He forgot to put it back in his mouth,
I chuckle at this hound’s expression,
He tilt’s his head in question,
I grab the tip and ask him, “Cat got your tongue little one?”
Quickly, he snaps it back in,
Until the next time,
He forgets once again.
