A poem to which every man can relate. Hopefully not every day.
Woke up in the morning to the light of the sun
Woke up this morning knowing what needed to be done

Got up this morning with a task on my mind
Got up this morning with very little time

The sun had just rose and the breeze was creeping in
Time was a ticking
Time to complete the situation I was in

Kicked the sheets off the bed and stood right up
Ran to the kitchen to retrieve my coffee cup

Stubbed my toe going through the doorway
Oh damn, what a way to start this day

Finally made it to the kitchen to find the coffee had run out
Amid my disappointment, a shower is all I could think about

Ran and turned the shower water on
Only to find all the hot water had gone

Shook my head and got in anyway
Oh what a glorious way to start this damn day

Hopped out of the shower to find my work shirt wrinkled
A quick trip to the dryer would have this situation fixed
Took a minute to take a quick tinkle
Came back to a dryer not working and a shirt still wrinkled

Threw on my work shirt and moved on to my pants
This is my getting ready for work dance

Grabbed my car keys and moved on my way
Moving on to another rough work day
