To make one's grade, you need a plan - a poem for a bowling pro.
Driving home, I miss the turn,
And yet again, I hope to learn.
But why I’ve always raved and ranted
Is something which I take for granted.

A goofy foul, a gutter ball,
But never does my tracking stall;
Scoring well from spares prevents
My balls from taking vicious dents.

A game so black and white shall get
A bowler making one more bet;
They’ll convert this awkward split,
Or friends get paid on time, that’s it!

But why I’m bowling one more season
Is that most emphatic reason –
Once I’m finally in the shade,
Then I know I’ve got it made!

I mustn’t have a civil suit –
Point well made, but is it moot?
It shows what styles head the class,
And which ones hand them decent ass…

But when the bowlers take the floor,
It’s never what they bargained for;
So take a high class bowling style,
And bowling well will make you smile!

Bowling well’s about good habits –
Crankers, strokers, turtles, rabbits
All know that the key’s the same;
Take the ball and spare the frame!
