Tribute to the wonder of childhood
Through the eyes of a child,
What a different world to see!
A place most grown-ups forget could be.
With the whole world full of love;
Simple, wild, and free.

Behind each rock and tree,
Why, there could be a fairy!
And way up in the mountains,
Perhaps a dragon or three.
Everywhere they look,
There's something wondrous to see.

The moon is a beautiful lady,
Who will always play hide and peek.
Then she'll tuck you into bed,
And watch over you while you sleep.

The sun is a big, strong warrior,
Sword shining ever so bright.
He chases away the nightmares,
And banishes them with his light.

The sky is a lake so blue,
With clouds of brilliant white.
Each one could be a castle,
Or a dazzling fairy sprite.

Mommy and Daddy will always be there,
With kisses and hugs that heal.
Loving smiles and lots of laughter,
To chase away all tears.
