To Shelley
Those eyes
Those eyes staring at me,
Yellowed and staring from sockets once hollow
Dark mane dropping below the shoulders
With black lips on pale, cracked skin
A grimace wrinkling into a grin
With those eyes
Those eyes staring at me,
Demon get away
Mummy without wraps raised, reaching
Get away
That grin with those eyes,
Bulging as terrible guttural sounds come from within
Damnable actions what have I done
Damnable beast with pearled jaw

Must flee for the mountains
Flee for the world's edge
Amidst snow, in icy realm
Fire will grant both our ends.
