Poetry about 'drowning' in society and depression.
My tears won't dry in this goddamn ocean; I keep drowning in the sea.
My lungs won't open to the fogged up air, pollution is killing me.
My fingers grasp the pen, they tremble and quake, I'm on my fifth coffee.
My toes ache in the heels that I wear and my legs crumble beneath.
My waist is choked by the ribbon you pulled into concrete.
My neck is heavy, weighted with fear that you'll leave.
And my tears won't dry in this goddamn ocean; I keep drowning in me.
