Can apply to a person's feelings after his/her dreams and hopes are shattered.
Building a show in the broken castle of one and only life,
Lost in darkness spreading out of the heart,
Taking the soul over its edge
Down into 'the dark night'.
Empty eyes filled with silent words of agony,
Crying in the lonely enclosure of the heart,
Not knowing where to go,
To find a shoulder to cry on,
In the unknown world of strangers.

Remembering the past of contentment,
When contended to hope;
Smiling as one walked on,
Having the will to take risk and try,
Faithful enough to trust oneself with own dreams;
Now separated from the sparkle,
One bids farewell to the 'Time'.

Acceptance dwells in the house of pain,
Walking out of the trance,
Hopes and Dreams carved with such care
Now lay crumbled on the stage.

Whipped by the cold air,
Deep lines of misery engraved on the memory,
Echoing the music of loss,
The pain unknown to all, known to one;
Truth locked away in the corner of heart;
Stitching together the teared bridge,
Faking to be what heart is not,
One moves on, leaving behind a part of one and only life.
