Soaring

"Soaring"

Sailing
Wind whistling
blowing through my hair
he lifts me
as I reach maiden heights
unventured planes of warm mirth
sparks stinging the velvet darkness
silken swishes
he holds me as I tumble
as I fall through space
through the mist
to flutter
and quietly drift
floating
sinking
to the soft depths
of slumbering clouds
