A visualization of an emotional state.

Boxed In

Did you ever get the feeling
That you're all boxed in.
You've turned your back to yourself,
To a corner, backed yourself in.

I didn't watch my backside
Watched the world instead
Accidentally retreated to a corner,
And I've painted
And blocked myself,,
Backed myself right in.

.
It used to be a joke
Pulled when growing up.
Poor somebody gets high
And their smoke mates mess him up.
Because he's all "boxed in,"
With friends hands serving as blinders--
So as to box one right in.
As if surrounded by mimes.

I always imagined mimes.

But now I've boxed myself

Thinking and acting
From no position to win.
