a brief view into the pain of my adolescence
Have you ever felt it?

A pain so deep that nobody can see?

It's there, and I'm going to make you see it.

Tears flow thick like blood through my veins.

Anger burns like hot coals on my feet.

You locked me behind these doors,

because you couldn't accept it was you,

It was you that really scarred me.

All the local agencies in denial.

My adoption was the crime,

and i was the one punished.

So I cut.

I cut with whatever I could grab.

I'll make you see it I said.

I don't want to die, but I'm dying inside.

Acting out wasn't enough.

So now I'll make you see it.

My pain runs deep.

The first cut hurt a little,

but i had to make you see.

Look at me now, do you see me?

I wear the scars on my skin.

You will always be reminded.

I forced you to see.
