The inspiration for this poem Darkness is Coming by Kevin MacLeod
Shadows swirl
around the soul of matter,
condense
into a darkness deeper
then interstellar nebula.

Music flows,
out of the Stygian night,
its somber cadence shattering
the flutes of joy.

Carried by sad rhythms,
darkness approaches
and threatens to overtake
life's symphony.
