childhood memory of moving to the small prairie home where I grew up.
Monday morning rolls around yet again. Where does the time go?

Happy Canada Day!!

I remember moving to Canada in the fall of 1967. Canada had just turned 100 years old!  I remember sitting in a car with my parents and siblings, growling down the Trans-Canada highway from the Calgary airport to the lovely town of Brooks Alberta. Looking behind us through the rear window I was impressed with the billowing dust cloud behind us. The number 1 highway was not paved back then. What is our new home going to be like? Will there be babbling brooks? Looking pretty dry to me. Mom does not seem impressed.
