A traditional style poem.

I said-
You know, love's not supposed to die-
The fervour faded as we did not try
aye,
Are you playing numb being alive?

Live for the present, cherish the day
And time will show the way.
Love doesnt exist they say
We dont have to prove it anyway.

We fooled around every corner
No nights went sober
Love blooms just once like a flower
Did not know until u said its over.

I am now rusted staying alone
Withered with pain, old I've grown,
Strong winds, to a cave I'm blown
Instant relief from a world that I mourn.

Oh God! I'm perturbed after all that You said,
For humanity to thrive, on us true love you laid,
But my love died. It was not true I'm afraid,
Left with beautiful yet painful memories to dread.
