My Friend

My new friend ken,
Is magnificent in writing poems till the end.
Never met person so avuncular,
Has humor in his talks and writes spectacular.

Encounter with him first and to chat,
Imagined him as young and fat.
Our conversation forced me to drop by his port,
Shocked! Was my reaction to find him old and exhort?

Precious friend of mine on writing.com,
Without him online, I find myself forlorn.
Sooners more than laters, he has great deal of faith in me,
Blessed I am to be gifted and talent that he foresees.

He is master of his own universe,
Challenges my wits, being apprehensive and think worse.
Its enormous responsibility to handle within this duration,
Makes me nervous, not to get tripped and face the condemnation.

This is unbelievable to find him keen,
I am in his awe, as he knows more about this theme.
Pleasure will be all mine to take our friendship to new heights,
Running for the hills is not what I envisage in coming nights.

Please don't get offended,
See the jesting and feelings that are suspended.
With no wrangles, want to know you more,
Anticipate that you find my work to adore.
