I wrote this poem today. It is dedicated to fellow poet Lee Cooms. Break the line.
A Perfect Mess

I know not why
These words behave
The way they do
I put them down on paper
In an orderly queue
But some words get impatient
And try to cut the line
While others
Out of laziness
Or indifference
Lag behind
And so I'm left
With nothing less
Than a perfect mess
But I don't mind
Because I find
I write my best
When I break the line
