This story is also in Jezri's 100 Words of Horror contest with the title "Clean." :)
There once was a girl named Anna who longed for clean hands. Every time she saw them they were covered in dirt, no matter how often she washed. One day, she decided that she would finally get them clean. She went to the bathroom and scrubbed them for hours. “Anna, you okay in there?” Her mother asked. “Yes I’m almost done!” Anna replied. When she came out, her hands were soaked in blood and soap. As her mother stepped closer she realized Anna’s fingerprints were gone. “At last, they’re clean!” Anna said as her mother backed away in horror.
