What do you do when the pressures of life seem overwhelming?

Objects ripple suspended in midair,
the buzz of bugs lingers in the air,
a gentle breeze flows by without a care,
can you feel the beauty here?

a tree trunk chipped down by beavers galore,
pine cones and leaves line the forest floor,
plants of all species sprouting up forever more,
the key to life unlocks any door,

but only once opened is the other side revealed,
no decision made will ever be appealed,
unrest and self-doubt forever concealed,
as the forest opens up into a beautiful field,

pine trees and wildlife left behind,
continuous searching with nothing to find,
as the accumulated past weighs on your mind,
true beauty tends to turn a man blind,

as the field stretches out in its majesty and grace,
life seems to turn quickly into a race,
you run, you fight, you pick up the pace,
when it becomes too much you return to this place.
