a poem about a friendship that didn't last.
We were friends, you and I,
or so we professed,
but one bump in the road,
a friendship distressed.

It was trust that was lost;
rivals our friends?
Accepting their untruths;
is this the end?

Once more, friends reunite,
feeble at best.
One new bump in the road;
friends laid to rest.

Now, we're barely talking.
I'm not unkind.
It's sad but oh so true,
out sight, out mind.
