My first Sonnet (that I wrote for my friend's senior final *laughs*)
What hearts do often wander through the night
The loneliest of spirits without hope
Your eyes bring back hope sheltered from the fight
For with your love, I have learned how to cope
Through many wounds to your small, fragile heart
You can still stand my foolish little acts
Happily, we have yet to fall apart
Even though I have told more lies than facts
We became friends by a mere accident
I had fallen for you by lucky chance
It to end like this, was not what I meant
Me without you has left me in a trance
I don't know what to do, nor what to say
For long ago you took my breath away
