Something I wrote late one night. When the thoughts of life kept me awake.
The happiness it fades away as the thoughts begin to surface.

The late night thoughts that drive me mad.

The ones of things I don’t want to think about,

And the ones of things left unsaid.

The thoughts of happier places

And the thoughts of better times.

The ones I hide away.

Oh how I hate this time of day.
