A short story I wrote for a contest (100 words or less)
“Why do you look so sad Amelia? You helped me.” Tana said, “Helping makes unicorns happy, doesn't it?”
“Spilling innocent blood doesn't make me happy!” Amelia’s voice pierced through the misty air. “You will never get away with this, demon.” Tana gave a malicious smile.
“Demon?” she sighed.
“An innocent fairy child? Very clever.”
With lightning speed Amelia impaled the demon with her horn.
“Amelia! Amelia!” a horrified voice cried out. Amelia returned to reality and found herself sitting over the bloody corpse of her little sister with a knife in her hand.
