Flames,
an intimate entanglement of vibrant iridescence:

gyrating,
intertwining,

like familiar, unspent lovers,
dancing the Samba.

Erotic, rhythmic movements,
shifting in succinct patterns
flawlessly,
fluidly,
lovingly,
caressing their igniter.

Embers
all aglow with passion
