A walk on the beach turns into an experience not soon forgotten.
The beach lies shrouded in a thick fog as I walk down the shore. To the west, the ocean waves crash loudly within the grey mist.

A dark object catches my eye in the wet sand. I approach and find two giant, human like footprints. They look fresh.

The hair on the back of my neck stands upright as I glance nervously over my shoulder.

Suddenly a loud, wailing howl emerges from the forest to the east.

Quickly I spin towards the sound.

It's then I see it, a tall figure silhouetted in the fog. It seems human, but is much to large. Its head slowly moves from side to side as if looking and listening.

The howl begins again. The figure turns and walks towards the sound. Four long strides later, and it vanishes into the fog.

I beat a hasty retreat and sprint back to my car.
