2050: Humanity dominated by cyberspace - Trijan Refrain
Binary Blindfold

The internet our universe
and God the keyboard keys,
angelic hackers quite perverse
inflate this mad disease.
Yet we dismiss our idleness
to claim we live a life of bliss.
Yet we dismiss.
Yet we dismiss—
our friends remain anonymous

This virtual reality
began as just a game.
The death of our morality
lies victim to its claim.
Now we can kill when e’er we will
as though it doesn’t matter still.
Now we can kill.
Now we can kill—
and children learn this vital skill.

No gentle breeze to brush our brow,
no flowers can we smell.
But we continue on somehow,
this life of living hell.
And still we play most ev’ry day
synthetic though this vast array.
And still we play.
And still we play.
The world has gone so far astray.
